The John and Pat Hume Foundation were proud to host the “Making Hope and History Rhyme” event which took place on Tuesday the 18th April 2023 at 5pm in the Guildhall, Derry/Londonderry.
The event is a tribute to John Hume and David Trimble and included music, poetry and reflections from Neil Hannon, from Divine Comedy, singer Roe, Tim Wheeler, from the band ASH, actress Bronagh Gallagher, the distinguished composer and musician Phil Coulter and the Ulster University Choir. The keynote address was from the 42nd President of the United States, President William Jefferson Clinton.
Representatives from the Hume and Trimble family also participated in the event.
